Frequently asked questions

Payments, access periods, corrections and account questions — answered in short. If your question is not here, the contact page reaches a person.

Getting access

Is NU Guide affiliated with National University?

No. NU Guide is an independent study aid. We analyse publicly available previous-year question papers and publish our own explanations. We are not connected to the National University, its colleges or its exam board, and we say so on every legal page.

Are these the real previous-year questions?

Yes — the question text comes from publicly available Honours papers. Everything on top of it is ours: the frequency analysis, importance marking, structured answers, Bangla explanations, memory tricks and exam tips.

Which subjects do you cover?

We are live with English Honours 2nd-year subjects and are adding more departments and years. Each subject page shows what is available, and coming-soon subjects let you leave your email so we can tell you when they launch.

Do I need an account?

You can browse subject pages and read the free previews without one. An account (Google sign-in) is needed to buy access and to see what you have already unlocked.

Payments and access

How do I pay?

By bKash send-money to the number shown on the payment page. After sending, submit your bKash transaction ID (TrxID) on the site. A person verifies every TrxID, and your access starts the moment it is approved.

How long does approval take?

Usually within 24 hours. If you pay late at night or on a holiday it can take a little longer. Your request shows as pending until someone reviews it — a pending request is normal, not an error.

How long do I keep access?

Each subject has a fixed access period, counted from the moment your payment is approved. The length is shown on the pricing page and on the subject page, and your expiry date is always visible on your account page.

What happens when my access expires?

Nothing is charged and nothing renews. The locked answers simply become locked again, and you can buy another period whenever you want.

My payment was rejected

That means the TrxID you submitted could not be matched to a payment we actually received — usually a wrong transaction ID, or a transfer sent to a different number. Nothing was charged to you. Check the number and the ID, then submit again, or send us your bKash statement and we will trace it.

Content and corrections

Is the content in Bangla or English?

Questions and answer outlines are in English, because that is how the papers are written. Explanations, memory tricks and tips for the harder parts are in Bangla, and the whole interface can be switched to Bangla from the header.

What do 🔥 and ⭐ mean?

🔥 marks a question that has appeared in more than one year — the years are listed so you can see the pattern yourself. ⭐ marks the questions our analysis judges most important, based on how often they appear, the marks they carry, and how the exam pattern has moved.

I found a mistake in an answer

Please tell us. Send the subject, the unit and the question number to the contact address and we will check it and fix it. Corrections are the fastest way the content improves for everyone.

Will these questions come in my exam?

Nobody can promise that. Our analysis shows what has come before and what is most likely to matter. It is a study aid — not a leak and not a guarantee.

Account

How do I switch to Bangla?

Use the language button in the header. The whole site, including these policy pages, is available in Bangla and English.

Can I share my account with a friend?

No. Access is personal to you. Sharing a login can get the account suspended without a refund, because the content is priced per student.

How do I delete my account?

Write to us from the address you signed up with and ask for deletion. We remove your profile and personal data, keeping only the minimum payment record we are required to hold — see the privacy policy for details.
